Il Castello di Sammezzano a Reggello, conservato come un set fotocinematografico, è una residenza eclettica in stile moresco progettata ed edificata intorno al 1605, riprogettata a partire dalla metà dell'800, epoca in cui il suo parco, tra i più vasti della Toscana, venne allestito tra un boschetto di lecci e terreni agricoli attorno: fu piantumato con una gran quantità di specie esotiche, come sequoie e altre resinose, mentre l'arredamento architettonico fu realizzato con elementi in stile moresco come un ponte, una grotta artificiale con statua di Venere, vasche, fontane e altre creazioni decorative in cotto toscano!
